Support for the Mind, Body, and Emotional Journey

Chronic pain and illness can bring feelings of frustration, exhaustion, uncertainty, grief, and isolation. When symptoms persist, it can sometimes feel as though life begins to revolve around appointments, limitations, flare-ups, and the need to constantly adapt.

Therapy provides a calm and compassionate space to explore these experiences without judgment. Together, we can look at the emotional impact of pain and illness, develop supportive coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and create space for greater balance, self-compassion, and a renewed sense of control.

Dina brings more than 20 years of experience working as a manual therapist alongside clients living with chronic and complex health conditions. Her background includes supporting individuals affected by fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis (MS), lupus, cancer, arthritis, chronic fatigue, persistent musculoskeletal pain, and other long-term conditions. This experience brings a deeper understanding of the connection between physical discomfort, emotional well-being, stress, and the many adjustments that can come with chronic illness.

Areas We Can Explore Together

Living With Ongoing Pain

Exploring the emotional impact of persistent pain while developing strategies that can support coping, self-awareness, and everyday well-being.

Anxiety & Health-Related Worry

Supporting fears around symptoms, flare-ups, medical appointments, uncertainty, or changes in health.

Low Mood & Emotional Exhaustion

Creating space for feelings of sadness, frustration, loneliness, or emotional fatigue that may develop when living with a long-term condition.

Grief & Loss

Chronic illness can involve grieving changes in health, independence, abilities, routines, relationships, or the life you once expected. Therapy can provide space to process these changes with care.

Stress & Nervous System Regulation

Exploring gentle approaches such as mindfulness, grounding, relaxation, and emotional regulation to support a greater sense of calm and connection with your body.

Identity & Self-Worth

Supporting you in separating who you are from your diagnosis or limitations and reconnecting with your strengths, values, and sense of self.

Relationships & Family Life

Exploring how pain or illness may affect communication, intimacy, parenting, friendships, caregiving roles, and relationships with loved ones.

Adjustment to Diagnosis or Change in Health

Offering support as you adapt to a new diagnosis, changes in symptoms, treatment, physical limitations, or a different way of living day to day.

Living with chronic pain or illness does not mean that every part of life needs to be defined by it. Therapy can offer space to feel heard, reconnect with your strengths, and discover ways to live with greater compassion, balance, meaning, and emotional well-being.
